Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has left a mark on the screen. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother and an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played a range of roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she enjoyed acting. She relocated from the Midwest to New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap opera All My Children. During early 2000s she had small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza had the privilege of working alongside some outstanding TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Following a brief time, her character moved into Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. She portrayed Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two short episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is of Italian heritage and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. She was raised in an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano started her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her in an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants they were selected as one of just four. Milano was featured in television advertisements, off-Broadway productions and the American premier of Jane Eyre.
